About the Author

Some sales people refer to me as a “Car Lawyer” or a “Coach” at dealerships. They don’t like to see me come in with a customer. I worked in the car business for a number of years, at various dealerships, in the roles as salesman, sales manager, business manager and lease manager. I have made a good living at it. Yet, at the same time it is a very dishonest income. I have seen car sales people come and go. The ones that “survive” in this cut throat industry are the ones that can master manipulation of their customers.

It is sad but true, but a car sales person is almost the bottom of the barrel. Sales man don't start out with the intention of ripping you off, but when their living depends on commission, and the competition is fierce, it can turn an honest hungry person into a person driven to do almost anything to make a dollar. But it is a living none the less and car sales people are needed.
With The Auto Buyers Guide to Dealer Scams you will save money on your next vehicle purchase.

There are sales people and dealerships that work very hard at “curbing”. the  games and mistrust between customers and sales people. Sales people also know that “customers” have been deceived at other dealerships and are not always as forthcoming and upfront  so there is an automatic mistrust
